About Lennie
Gathering the Pieces began as a way to make sense of what remains after loss.
I lived through trauma and profound loss at an early age — experiences that shaped my life long before I had language for them. Over time, I learned that healing is rarely a single moment. It is something lived into quietly, patiently, and often out of view.
Healing, for me, did not become a destination. It became something lived — each day shaped by understanding, continuing to move forward, and choosing to embrace life. It is waking with gratitude to enjoy one more sunrise.
Writing became a way for me to heal by gathering the pieces of my life along the way. It helped me make room for who I had become. As I wrote, I gathered each piece with care.
I wrote this book and created this space in the hope that others might recognize themselves here — and in doing so, begin to find their own voice and light. Most of all, to know they are not alone.
This space is not about fixing grief or rushing hope. It is about presence, reflection, and the small, steady work of becoming whole.
If you’re here, you don’t need to arrive whole.
You’re welcome to read, reflect, and explore at your own pace.
